Leaders That Serve The SFC Way

Singles For Christ is not just any ordinary organization.

Although it has everything an organization should have, what makes up and what makes it is a totally different story.  In SFC, as you dig deeper into its world, you’ll soon discover unearthing yourself.  There’s no other valuable treasure hidden deep under but you.  As you spend more time serving you discover how time becomes less but used more productively in your life.  Works for the Lord should be given more time but then at the end of the day you’ll realize the time you gave earned you a lot and you gained more.

As you go up the hierarchy, you’ll realize you are not supposed to be higher but lower than everyone else.  As leaders step up they will serve the members by having the heart to really love them and having the desire to lead them to the right path.  Getting promoted and climbing up the SFC organization ladder means getting more responsibilities from the vineyard of God.  And what God wanted from His plantation?  Not production of excess fruits to earn profit but planting more saved souls and better people so that they may grow someday and be able to plant others as well.  Even the gauge of the success in God’s ministries is not just the efficiency of each activity or events but the effectiveness of sending His message across.

He does not require a perfect program; He requires a significant change in the hearts and minds of His people.  Teachings in SFC do not aim to make us greater than everyone else, but greater than ourselves to overcome our own sinful desires.  A covenant with God is not just any promise to fulfil but a whole life to change for the better.  Jesus is our Saviour and our mission is to spread His word.

All He asks from His leaders is to be a good example just like Jesus Christ is an example to all of us.   After all, we are Singles for Christ and we follow Him.

Testify To Love | Avalon

Send Me Someone

Send me someone to love with all my heart
Someone I'll share my dreams with
Someone I'll share my successes as well as my failures with
And most of all
Send me someone I'll share the love that You have generously filled me with

He doesn't have to complete me because You already made me whole
He doesn't have to fix me because You already fixed my broken soul
All he has to do is love me with all his heart
And together
We will praise and serve You
Forevermore

Prayers for Servants

Dear Lord, I pray for a better service to Your ministries to become better servants worthy of Your love...

I pray to make Your servants physically and emotionally healthy so that they may be able to share their talents to serve You more...

I pray to make Your servants mentally and spiritually capable of balancing their personal lives for them to find more time to serve You better...

I pray to make Your servants financially stable to lessen their worries and share more of the treasures they receive through the blessings You generously give for them to focus on how to serve You best...

...and I personally pray for You Lord to mend my broken soul, heal my wounded heart and strengthen my spirit so that I will never lose my grip on You when trials come...AMEN

My Singles For Christ Family

Inner Conflicts

The struggles that I'm facing, the inner conflicts I'm battling against, these are the things I couldn't just share with anyone but God. He alone can understand the pains and He alone knows why I couldn't and shouldn't just share them with anybody else.

I've been fighting against these feelings and these thoughts that kept bothering me.  They pose a threat to my service to the Lord and I couldn't let anything get in the way of serving God.  Our emotion is really very strong it can paralyze our whole self...

I guess I'll just have to treat this as my daily exercise to keep my spirituality fit and to strengthen the endurance of my heart.  I'm really hoping that someday I'll get past this without destroying anything wonderful I have already built for myself...

I-B.L.O.G.

I Believe, Love and Obey God

The key to a tireless service to the Lord is actually enjoying serving Him.

If we're busy doing His works, we will never have time to notice the negative things around us.

It will always be about serving Him and being grateful to both the good and the bad...the good for it's a blessing and the bad for the lessons learned.
